What kind of Vacuum should I buy for my office?

When it comes to finding the right vacuum for your office, it’s important to consider all of the different types of vacuums available. Residential vacuums, commercial vacuums, and backpack vacuums are all great options that offer different advantages and disadvantages. In this blog post, we’ll take a closer look at each of these types of vacuums to help you find the best one for your office.

Residential Vacuums

A residential vacuum is designed for use in the home and is typically lightweight, easy to maneuver, and affordable. These vacuums are great for quick cleanups and small jobs, but they may not be as powerful as more specialized options. Residential vacuums are generally best for smaller offices with limited space.

One of the best residential vacuums on the market is the Riccar Supralite Vacuum. This lightweight vacuum is designed to be easy to maneuver and offers powerful suction power for deep cleaning carpets and hard floors alike. The Supralite also comes with a variety of attachments, making it great for cleaning a variety of surfaces around the office.

Commercial Vacuums

Commercial vacuums are designed for use in larger offices or public spaces, and they typically offer more power than residential models. These vacuums often come with more attachments than residential models, and they are designed to handle larger areas with ease. Commercial vacuums are also designed to hold up over time, which makes them a great investment for businesses that will be using them regularly. One excellent Commercial vacuum is the Sanitaire Commercial Vacuum. It's durable, and with it's timeless design it's easy to clean, maintain, and operate.

Backpack Vacuums

Backpack vacuums are designed to be worn on the back and offer a hands-free way to clean larger spaces quickly and efficiently. These vacuums are popular in commercial settings because they allow workers to move quickly through large areas without having to stop and constantly move a heavy vacuum around. This is the main pro of the backpack vacuum, that you can use it and maneuver through obstacles that would normally be difficult for traditional vacuums. For example, vacuuming stairs, the floor in a office with a lot of chairs,

etc.. One very popular backpack vacuum is the ProTeam ProVac Fs 6 Backpack Vacuum.

Cordless Vacuums

Cordless vacuums require charging, and are usually limited in their vacuuming time given a battery charge to 45 minutes to an 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cordless vacuums have less suction, and should only be used in instances where high suction is not needed and it is highly convenient to not plug it in. All of the previously mentioned vacuums come in cordless versions, though they are usually at least twice as expensive. Some good examples of cordless vacuums are Dwalt's 20v Hand Vacuum (which is not a type of vacuum we have included into this list, but it is a flexible vacuum for use cases which are short, but require a high level of suction in cracks, crevices or furniture), Makita's XCV17PG 18V X2 LXT® Lithium-Ion (36V) backpack vacuum, and the Riccar Cordless Supralite Vacuum.
